My first time seeing a W C Fields film. To be honest, I really knew nothing about his comedy style, from seeing pictures of him (heck, I've even got a WC Fields lamp), I always thought he was gonna be a grumpy old curmudgeon, because I'd heard his quote about never working with animals or children.

Well, it turns out I was wrong. Very funny movie, I felt so bad for him most of the time because everyone kept yelling at him and he was just so... frail. It was hilarious though, the shaving scene, sleeping on the porch, the shop, all of it was great.

The sound as well was perfect, I loved that it was so exaggerated, it just added to the comedy, the constant noises that would wake up Fields, I loved it.
