Review of House of the Rising Sun (2011) by Allan C — 14 Nov 2012
Not bad direct-to-video action flick. Professional wrestler Dave Bautista also does a surprisingly good job in the lead. Sure it's not exactly Shakespeare, but I would rate Bautista a better actor and more charismatic than Norris or Van Damme.
The film also has a decent and somewhat original story. The downside to the film is some pretty horrible dialogue and some awfully dull action sequences, which I would not have expected given Bautista's MMA background.
