Also titled "Jewish Connection", the story mainly depicts as starting point, an Hasidic Jew becomes a "mule" to carry out ecstasy and who becomes addicted to this activity, leaving hi family and traditions.

Odly enough, the usual trip to bring the drug takes the mules through Amsterdam-Brussels-Montreal-New York.

From the beginning, you can know that it will end badly for him, but I did not really feel compassion, as he was given different possibilities to leave this life and go back to a normal one. Money and admiration of the others were his drivers, but it did not bring him anything good.

I noticed that the movie is often filmed "out of focus", often making the actors blurred, as if the director wanted to give the impression that it was film under drug. One of the actress specifically mentioning that ecstasy makes that effect. it is a strange approach nonetheless, which does not help much this movie. Anyway, it is nice to see Jesse Eisenberg in a different role, not being labelled "Zuckerberg" :).
