Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Alexander F — 30 Jan 2010
I loved this movie. Great casting and a story compelling enough to keep me guessing and wondering what really happened. All the Actors shine giving standout performances. The music gives the movie a haunting tone as the picture takes us on two journeys simultaneously; a snapshot in the life of the doomed George Reeves and the detective determined to find out the truth of what really happened to him.
I highly recommend this for fans of film noir as it captures a lot of the man in over his head feeling of some of the classic pictures.
