Totally 80's over-the-top violence. Probably my 3rd favourite Chow-Yun Fat film next to 'Hard Boiled' and 'The Killer'. You'll notice another familiar actor (Anthony Wong from 'Hard Boiled') featured in this one--so if you're hard up for some more Chow-Yun Fat action and you've exhausted his two greatest roles.
.. move onto this one. A Better Tomorrow I & II, obviously, are also great choices... but a little slower paced in my opinion.
