Tragic, hopeful, compelling and thoughtful, "Frontera" illustrates the complexity of our ongoing border challenge with Mexico in very human terms. While there are some true villains (and heroes) in "Frontera," most of the characters struggle with the difficulty of sorting good vs. evil or dealing with personal tragedy.
I loved this movie.
