Wellll....i just finished reading heaps of reviews on imdb to see if my theory of the storyline was anywhere near others.....i did like this film...it looked great, the music was great, and the acting was great.
...i also really like seeing films that end off in such an enigmatic manner, making the director/artist seem much more intelligent than the viewer. BUT! this would've been much better if it was actually directed by david lynch.
It had an EXTREEEMELY david lynch feel...and the problem with that is I have tried to emulate lynch's style in writing, and it didn't werk. This film obviously tried to do the same in filming.
..and it didn't werk....lynch is very individual, and has the ability to make surrealistic films interesting, even plotwise. I vote for lynch to do a remake!
