Just like edvard munch's painting style, watkin's style of directing is also abstract, it's kinda difficult at first but getting more clearer towards the finale especially the last hour, and definitely not enough to watch this just one time especially for amateur like me, and oddly, the least abstract thing in this movie for me is the abstract painting itself.
