Review of Drugstore Cowboy (1989) by Sigmundur H — 08 Sep 2007
This gem of a movie showed Gus Van Sant describing the desperate lives of a group of addicts. A strong script, excellent acting and a movie than never flinches away from its subject matter, combine into making this a fantastic piece of film making.
The appearance of William S. Burroughs as a drug addict gave it a realistic flavour. A must see.
