Review of Death Note (2017) by Alexis A — 24 Aug 2017
And what does it matter if it was different from anime and manga? As if all live action movies were totally equal to the original story faithfully. The film did not feel rushed despite having a fast pace.
Great soundtrack, actors and characters. The direction and plot could be more hardcore, but it did not leave anything to be desired. Stop repression and just accept. So why would anyone say that they would do liveaction of Death Note someday and still be known around the world? Spare me, If you do not make the movie, it rains of people asking for the movie to do, and if they do, everyone criticizes and gives a low audience to the movie that ends up not having interest in making other films that could easily become a new saga, whether from this anime or from other animes end up being harmed by the directors being afraid of the negative reaction of the public as most of times are, and never do anything to bring joy to the supposed fans.
