Review of Contempt (1963) by Leraiah Y — 19 May 2004
I love it!!!!!!!! She is so well-suited for the role. The red and white apartment, the gods, the sea... From the outset, as you watch this couple unravel, you know that they're doomed. The objects and settings play up their personalities and the pain you feel for them soars to a heart-wringing pitch in the climactic final scene.
