Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Andy M — 05 Aug 2007
Adopt a Noel Coward accent...
"My, the audacity of such a film! To insinuate that a happily married female would have feelings for another man! The disgrace! A terrible folly indeed!".
Wonderful film which relies on dialgue and real emotion on screen, not forgetting the skilled direction of David Lean (check the skewed camera towards the end). Worth every penny!
