Review of Black Roses (1988) by Zach M — 18 Jan 2013
Watched this one back to back with Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare, and I have to say that this one was the more competent of the two, and even features a cameo (pre-Sopranos) from Big Pussy as a kids father, which was an amusing moment in the film. A metal band turns up in a small town to turn the local teens into possessed creatures as part of a pact with Satan, which sounds like a Focus On The Family inspired nightmare from middle America in the '80s, and it plays out as such.
Well worth a rental.
