Review of Beast Cops (1998) by Will J — 25 Feb 2008
This has to be one of my favorite HK cop movies. Anthony Wong carries this movie whilst Michael Wong is pretty wack.
The film blends the action, drama and comedy really well, and with the way the narrative plays more around the 3 cops lives rather than the case works extremely well. The cinematography and locations really set the mood with a lot of night shots, neon lights and dingy apartments.
The last action scene is pretty mindblowing and worth watching the whole movie for.
Recommended.
