Review of Batman (1989) by Andy N — 09 Jan 2013
This and The Dark Knight are the perfect Batman films. Michael Keaton is perfect as Batman. He's dark and brooding, but he also shows that Batman/Bruce Wayne isn't completely all there in the head which is something that's missing from the other Batman films.
They try to make it logical and simple that decision to become The Batman, but this film tries to show you that he's just as psychotic it's just a sense of justice that separates him from being a "homicidal artist" like The Joker.
It's got the gadgets, the best Batmobile, the best Batwing.
