Review of Basket Case 2 (1990) by Jason D — 04 Nov 2007
Great follow-up to the original film that has the brothers and their terrible secret revealed to the world, and now they are hidden with the help of a kindly Dr. who runs a sanctuary for Freaks. As the brothers and the rest of the house of freaks try to avoid nosy reporters, one finds love while the other wants to escape.
Although actor David Emge never really made something of himself after his amazing performance in the original Dawn of the Dead, he did show up in this film as the half-moon freak. It is pretty much wasted though, like putting Leonardo Dicaprio in a movie wearing a mask and given no lines and about 5 accumulative minutes of screen time.
What is the point? Still, a fun film to watch.
