Yikes. Disturbing, gripping and probably fairly accurate depiction of a situation that in reality is even more difficult. Stirs up emotions of anger towards the evil bastards that survive as pirates and the greedy pricks who weigh lives in terms of the economic hit their bottom lines will take, and of course the system the world lives in where these seem like the only options.
