Review of To Rome with Love (2012) by Rick Q — 16 Jul 2012
"to rome with love" is made up of four different stories that, other than taking place in rome, have nothing to do with each other. woody allen had these four ideas that weren't big enough for a whole feature, so he threw them all in to one, and very successfully, might I add.
each story is full of wonderful performances, witty dialogue, absurdity, and a lot of charm. this definitely isn't on par with "midnight in paris", "the purple rose of cairo", or "annie hall", but rather closer to being as enjoyable as "sleeper" or "mighty aphrodite".
