In a way this was the perfect companion piece to This is England. Only this time instead of English pride it was all about Irish pride and fighting against the English occupants. Just like This is England though this movie was excellent in every way.
Great acting, great script, gorgeous Irish scenery, just the perfect package. Cillian Murphy is absolutely brilliant in the main role, hats off to him. I hope he gets to do more interesting projects like this.
