I watched John Ford's masterpiece, "The Searchers," recently on HD blu-ray on a 1080p HD TV and it was better than I've ever seen it short of seeing it in the theater. The movie John Wayne should have won an Oscar for; the story, cast, cinematography, music, everything about this movie is close to perfect.
One of John Wayne's best performances and a movie that continues to influence films to this day.
