Johnny Depp playing a very Johnny Depp character in a very Johnny Depp film. The acting is terrific, the dialogue is sharp and witty and slightly eccentric, which adds to the film. This isn't a film for everyone, particularly post-Pirates-Of-The-Caribbean-Johnny-Depp-fans - they will probably be confused and disappointed with this film.
