Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Konrad R — 08 Oct 2008
Oh...my...god. This film is a masterpiece in all ways that are fit.
The film is visually stunning. I am a sucker for noir films and this film is perfect with its low key lighting with dark shadows, deep contrasts. Its amazing.
The story is classic. Frances McDormand looks amazing in this film and Billy Bob's performance as the classical nior anti-hero reject is dead on.
The entire film is a magnificent piece. Once again the Coens achieved success, in my opinion. Great film. Must buy.
