Review of The Island on Bird Street (1997) by Rob M — 14 Jan 2011
A young Jewish boy hides in the rubble of a ghetto from the Nazis during WW2 with only his pet mouse snow and a copy of Robinson Caruso to keep him company. Well acted, and though slow moving stills tells a poignant and brave tale through a childs eyes.
Based on a true story.
