Review of The Great Raid (2005) by Tony M — 01 Jul 2007
This movie takes a look at three different aspects of the war in the Philippines. You have the nurse working with the underground resistance, the POW's in the Cabanatuan camp and the soldiers who have orders to lead a raiding part to rescue the POW's.
This story is gripping from beginning to end. Dahl did an amazing job. If you liked the movie, read "Ghost Soldiers" it's about this story.
