Review of The Five Obstructions (2003) by Jared L — 17 Jun 2007

The documentary part of this film wasn't as interesting as the short films themselves, but by the end, I found myself thoroughly convinced by the whole thing. it's partly the amazing work produced by jorgen leth, here, that makes it such a memorable and interesting film, but also the fact that people in the world are doing these things--challenging themselves and their friends--makes me feel good about not just the movie, but the real world.
