Review of The Five Obstructions (2003) by Simon D — 17 Oct 2011
Lars von Trier may be brilliant, but he's so full of himself and a bit of an asshole. He needs to be told that film is just film and that people deserve a little more respect (or maybe this is his secret message and just can't say it plainly because of his genius).
Jorgen Leth, on the other hand, just can't make a film that isn't gorgeous.
