Review of The Five Obstructions (2003) by John M — 28 Jun 2010
A fascinating experiment of artistic risks and creative struggles. Cineastes will find The Five Obstructions an illuminating examination of art, humanity, belief and faith, while casual filmgoers will most likely find themselves scratching their heads in search of a more conventional narrative.
Either way, it's a brilliant film and one every cinephile should experience.
