Review of The Dressmaker (2015) by Anne M — 28 Oct 2016
I took my teenage daughter to see this and we both enjoyed it immensely. The dresses were truly reminiscent of the era's Hollywood Glam and all so gorgeous. It is wickedly funny in many parts in addition to heartbreak, shock and awe in others.
The story has many predictable and cliche parts but also enough intrigue to keep you wondering and interested. I can't remember the last time this happened but I'd actually consider owning this movie when it comes out.
