Review of Tears of the Black Tiger (2000) by Abe R — 12 Jun 2007
Okay, so using the pallete of Bollywood, the style of 50's hollywood (via china), set as a western (despite the machine guns, police force, cars, and a BAZOOKA?). using every editing technique once (the instant replay at the beginning?). filmed on location (although the quick-draw face-off between goodie and baddie takes place in an unrealistic studio set)....
Endearingly naive.
