Review of Tape (2001) by Ronald S — 30 Jan 2010
It's amazing what you can do with so little. Linklater shows indie filmmakers how it's done by filtering his one of a kind sensibilities through Robert Sean Leonard, Uma Thurman, and constant Linklater collaborator Ethan Hawke. This film has more twists and turns than a court room drama and is kept interesting by the keen eye of the cinematographer.
Any fan of Linklater or of movies taking place in merely one location should search this out.
