Review of Spartacus (1960) by Sunnie D — 06 Dec 2008
Wow how hard did braveheart bite this movie. this movie puts a lot of the war epics like braveheart and gladiator to shame. again this is just another kubrick classic. the execution of this film is brilliant.
even though spartacus is a one dimensional character throughout the film you don't care because kubrick has the gift to keep you locked into every single frame. the credit is also is shared with great preferences and amazing art-direction, makeup and lighting.
kubrick can do no wrong in my eyes.
