Review of Songs from the Second Floor (2000) by Josh H — 15 May 2008
Every time I watch this I am amazed at how closely the film feels and moves like my dreams. I love the way it addresses how people today will just sit and watch something bad happen to them or others. There are many long pauses in the film that reflect this, as if saying, ""look at this - nothing is happening!!" when something really should be happening.
It is a complex thing and a brilliant work of art.
