Review of Snowden (2016) by Robin B — 17 Sep 2016
Pay no heed to the "Top Critics" serving as corporate gatekeepers. Oliver Stone systematically peels back the layers of the surveillance state through exploring the experiences that led Edward Snowden to have a crisis of conscience and become a whistleblower.
While most of us who have been following Snowden's story for the past three years have read his revelations. it's difficult to fathom how extensive the government's intrusion into people's private lives is, and how much damage can be done to anyone, including people who don't do anything wrong.
I'm half-tempted to buy an extra microwave, just to store all my electronic devices when not in use, and I've just located some masking tape for my camera lenses.
