Review of Sita Sings the Blues (2008) by Jeff B — 13 May 2009
Fantastic and incredibly fun animated film that tells the classic Indian story of Ramayana. This film is so inventive and exciting and very very funny. It's got several types of animation in it (all 2D) my favorite being the scenes with the narrators who are hysterical and are really the reason I'm giving this 5 out of 5.
The narrators are 3 "shadow puppet" figures who try to tell the story from memory and provide perfect stories and opinions to it.
