Review of Showtime (2002) by Westleigh Q — 20 Jun 2009
If you liked Hollywood Homicide or the Lethal Weapon series, Showtime is right up your alley. I don't usually enjoy Eddie Murphy, but I thought he was really funny in this one. I also like how the plot of this movie was basically making fun of buddy cop movies, yet this actually was a buddy cop movie.
I kinda wish William Shatner's role was bigger, a la Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon 2, but se la vie.
