Review of Samurai I: Musashi Miyamoto (1954) by Bradley P — 31 Mar 2016
A nice build-up of what is to come in the trilogy, Samurai 1, or Miyamoto Musashi lays the ground work with a rebellious, stubborn hero who is sure to become something more in the future installments. Swordplay is not overly highlighted in this Samurai film, but the characters and settings are emphasized often and this film serves as a nice setup for the sequels.
