I quite enjoyed the film. There is an interessting new backstory to Robin Hood and Marian is not depicted as a damsel in distress, which I enjoyed as well. There are some unrealistic features however - as the director has stated as well - it is not supposed to be realistic all the time as the story of Robin Hood has been told 1'000 times in different ways.
