Review of Red Heat (1988) by Conner R — 15 May 2010
While it's not as good as some other buddy cop movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger as officer Danko completely makes this a worthwhile and fun movie. His complete and utter devotion to making a believable and accurate Soviet policeman is commendable.
The only real complaint I have with the movie is Jim Belushi, his Bill Murray style jokes just don't work and it kills a lot of the otherwise good moments in the movie. However, the Arnold factor and great storyline really make this good.
