Another look at poverty in the UK, this time set in 1970s Glasgow. Depressing, but also beautiful at times. There are subtitles even though the movie is English, due to the extremely thick Scottish accents.
The ending is somewhat ambiguous, and could be interpreted a number of ways I think.
