Review of Postcards from the Edge (1990) by D G — 29 May 2007
Ok, so any movie with Meryl Streep is automatically a favourite of mine, and Postcards is no exception. Whoever says Meryl cannot do comedy should be shot as she is, as always, absolutely perfect in this movie.
Shirley MacLaine too is fabulous as Meryl's overbearing mother and they make a great team together onscreen. Highly recommended, if only for the simple fact that you get to hear Meryl sing!
