Review of Postcards from the Edge (1990) by Adrienne L — 02 Feb 2011
I watch 'Postcards' whenever I need a pick-me-up. Its especially good because it reminds me of the relationship I have with my own mother. We're also like war buddies. Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine plaly off each other with such ease it makes the addictions aspect of the film somehow less tough to sit through.
The supporting players are all wonderful. And I love Carrie Fisher's book this was based on too. A personal favourite.
