Mulberry Street had a charming earthy sort of character driven approach, which is a good thing, as otherwise there isn't much more to it than being a variation on NOTLD/28 Days Later zombie themes.
..but with rat people instead of zombies. The cast of unknowns brought a 'real people' type slice of life realism to the set-up. Some interesting make-ups, decent camerawork and legitimately tense sequences made it a real lowbudget winner for me.
