It would be perfect for a non-Tagalog speaking film critic as long as he canread the subs. the problem here is I can understand everything they're saying and the way the dialogues are written is sloppy.
I would understand that the actors had to act out using an english script which they had to tranlates themselves, but they couldve done better. also, as usual, subs do not properly translate the dialogues.
