Review of Mama (2013) by Adam H — 29 Oct 2014
I really liked this movie. The premise was much different from a lot of horror movies while being just like some horror movies. Jessica Chastain is one of today's most brilliant actors and she shines in this movie as a dark, somewhat brooding young woman who hasn't ever been around or had children and doesn't know how to deal with these almost feral young girls.
But she does the right thing and tries to take care of them, all the while falling in love with them. The ending is somewhat formulaic but a little surprising for me. Horror movie buffs will love it.
