Review of Listen to Britain (1942) by John M — 07 Mar 2010
This is a fantastic short film, showing scenes of wartime Britain set to music, with no narration. The lack of a commentary makes the film perhaps more moving; it was presumably intended as propaganda, but this can be completely forgotten as very natural scenes of what must been ordinary life at a very extraordinary time are shown without comment.
