Review of Last Life in the Universe (2003) by Cai Z — 03 Sep 2007
Quite possibly the only Thai/Japanese movie I've ever seen. It is a brilliant tale of a shy librarian who decides to turn his whole life upside down due to the tragic death of a girl he knew nothing about.
He befriends the deceased older sister, and the story goes on to a surprising, romantic and touching ending. This is Stuarts all time favourite movie and I feel it is definitely worth five stars.
