Review of Landline (2017) by Jeremiah C — 20 Jun 2017
Landline tells the story when In 1995, a teenager living with her sister and parents in Manhattan discovers that her father is having an affair.
Overall, Landline is a very tender film, with enough sweetness of comedy to make the film grade A. The film immerses itself in the misunderstandings and mixed signals of relationships, which is generally what this film is all about. Landline is definitely a must-see this year, because of the way the films situations between characters land. From up and down, to sadder and happier. Landline is a fun, silly, and comedic joy that shall be labeled one in the books.
