Review of Kundun (1997) by Laird J — 29 Feb 2008
A touching portrayal of the early life of H.H. the Dalai Lama. It artfully conveys the internal struggle faced by His Holiness when faced with the decision of either staying and facing assassination, or leaving his country in the hand of the Chinese.
Scorsese's collaboration with Philip Glass make this movie a real piece of art.
