Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) by Ryan S — 17 Dec 2015
A feast of filmic entertainment, not a single frame lacks in wonderfully bonkers and colorfully intense beauty. Thurman's ridiculous yet awesome performance mixed with Tarantino's frenetic yet careful direction sends this to the blood-splattered moon.
Strong evidence that style over substance isn't always necessarily a bad thing.
