Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) by Andremax — 15 Jul 2018
More a tribute to Japanese vintage movies than a serious film, Vol. 1 begins this spetacular plot about vendetta. The bride is probably best main character ever created by Tarantino, although here watcher see more of her assasin's side.
Violence , mutilation and absurd amount of blood is really shocking and sometimes even funny, which is markablest thing in this pic, and it's very well directed too. Way how story was told in middle of film (in comics) is quite different of everything ever made by Quentin.
A fair introduction to plot, which gets better in 2nd part.
